March 24, 2023 Special Council Meeting Minutes

Call to order:

The special Randolph City Council meeting was called to order at 6:00 p.m. by Mayor Marie Jacob.

Roll Call:

Present:

• Mayor Marie Jacob

• Council Members Sarah Podritz, Jacob Friedrich, and Todd D Carlock

• Clerk Mary Haro

• Also present was Matt Blazer of Bolton & Menk.

Approval of Agenda:

Motion by Podritz to approve the agenda, seconded by Friedrich. All voting in favor, none opposed, motion passed 5:0.

New Business

Matt discussed the reason for the special meeting is to change the way the project is being bid to add some alternatives. This would allow us to pull items out of the project if it would be necessary. There are 3 alternatives which have streets with no failing systems. A motion to approve Resolution 23-02 Approving Amended Plans And Specifications And Ordering Advertisement For Bids For The Sanitary Sewer Improvements Project was made by Podritz, seconded by Friedrich, . Voting in favor, Jacob, Podritz, Friedrich and Haro, Carlock abstained, motion passed 4:0.

Motion to adjourn the special meeting made by Podritz, seconded by Friedrich, the meeting was adjourned at 6:07 p.m. All voting in favor, none opposed, motion passed 5:0.
